24% of Livingstone population identifying as someone with disability. That’s almost one in four people in our community.
We are working towards providing a first-class service to our community.
About Us
CAEG meet every month to discuss concerns, ideas and improvements with the aim to ensure everyone can participate in our community, regardless of their ability. We want to hear from people with lived experience of disability (temporary or permanent), family members and carers, people working in the disability sector or people who have a genuine interest in improving access and building great communities.

Identifying and addressing issues around our shire, to create a more accessible landscape, is fundamental for an inclusive community. Our goal is to work with government, business and community to make this happen.

Accessible toilet facilities
Our local toilet map for the Livingstone Shire is being prepared. In the interim please use the link for the National Toilets Map below. Click “find” for each suburb.
Disability Parking Solutions
Livingstone Shire Council has welcomed feedback on parking issues and is compiling a map of their current and new disability parking spaces. It will be available soon.
Venue Access
We are working with local venues to help identify and make adjustments when needed to provide great access. A list will be available soon of accessible venues.
